About the Foxhole Fluorescent Geode Mine

The Foxhole Fluorescent Geode Mine is a newly opened and actively worked mine offering guests the opportunity to dig for fluorescent geodes in a productive, easily accessible pit environment. This site is ideal for collectors, families, and anyone looking for a rewarding and exciting rock-hunting experience without difficult hiking.

Geodes from the Foxhole Mine may contain banded agate, druzy quartz, and spectacular quartz crystal formations, including quartz β€œflowers” similar to those found at the famous Dugway Geode Beds. Many specimens exhibit fluorescence under UV light, adding an extra layer of excitement to every find.

The mine is worked with heavy equipment, exposing fresh material and maintaining excellent collecting conditions.

What You Can Find at the Mine

Every dig is different, but guests may uncover:

  • Fluorescent Geodes β€” glowing interiors under UV light

  • Banded Agate Geodes β€” colorful and patterned geode linings

  • Druzy Quartz Geodes β€” sparkling crystal interiors

  • Quartz Flowers & Crystal ClustersΒ

  • Associated chalcedony and quartz varieties

✨ All material you collect is yours to keep, within the included bucket limits.
